Monday morning, I woke up at 6am to stand in line to get vouchers for the Swine Flu vaccination for my children. They said they were going to start giving them out at 8am. So, I got to the Health building around 6:30 and no one seemed to be there. I kept seeing cars pull into the parking lot, and people walking in. I was thinking for some reason they were employees for that building. I was expecting a line like this:

Around the outside of the building, wrapping around it, times over. Instead, the line was inside. I could have been one of the first in line, but I was around #60. Luckily, they were pretty efficient and they were just giving out the vouchers, not the shots. So I had to return to the Health building Tuesday with both children. One 2 Yrs and one 7 months. I didn't know what to expect, but up and down the halls you could hear this:

Needless to say, I was nervous. How was Ethan going to do? He screams like crazy at the Dr's office and the Dr. hasn't even touched him. Now, a nurse he's never seen is gonna shove this thing up his nose. How's that gonna work? We got to a part in the line where they split into about 8 different lines to give the vaccines. As we were in this line, I could SEE the
SCREAMING CHILDREN!!!!! AAAAAGH!
So, we get to the nurse, and she tells Ethan she's going to put something in his nose that feels like water. He just kind of looked at her like she was an alien from outer space. She put it in, sprayed it, then she said she was done. He sniffed. Then smiled. Who on earth smiles after getting sprayed in the nose? Ethan.
