Ethan is 4!

Holy cow! My little boy is 4. I can't believe how the time has gone by so fast. He is starting preschool at the end of summer and is so excited. Every time we pass a school, he wants to go inside and is sad when I tell him he's not quite old enough. He LOVES trains and cars and will play with them for hours on his train tracks and his road rug. The baby is not allowed in his room when he is playing in there and will close the door so she can't get in. Then, you can hear him making train whistle sounds as he drives them around the tracks. He loves to play with friends, loves to go to the park and is sometimes a sweet big brother. If Madison needs help, he's always the first one to help her or ask us to help her if it's something he can't do. I love him and am so glad to have his little self in our family.

We kicked off his birthday celebrations with our trip to Park City over Memorial Day weekend. We went hot tubbing, because of the stinky snow. (Otherwise we would have been swimming) We went to see Kung Fu Panda 2, which was awesome. **We actually went to the hot tub after getting back from the movie and a little bit of water from the gazebo dripped on Ethan's head. Then another drop of water fell on his head and then he chanted "inner peace".** Which, if you haven't seen the movie, you totally won't understand, but if you have seen it, you will be laughing really hard right now. We came home Monday afternoon and then today we visited the Living Planet Aquarium with Ethan's cousins Peter and Jeremy. They had a lot of fun looking at the stingrays and penguins and the huge sea turtle and sharks. Mostly they just liked running around with each other and hiding in the coral mazes. Thanks for coming guys! It was fun.

Here is the huge semi truck that Ethan got for his birthday to carry all of his little matchbox cars.

Oh goody. I told Jocelyn to send me pictures from the aquarium but she said her phone died or something. Glad to hear the kids had fun. HB Ethan.
