First Day of Preschool

These aren't the best first day of school pictures ever, but, I forgot we had a new camera (since we've been without one for over a year) and I didn't want him to be late for his first day. Also, once we got there, he forgot all about me and booked it to his classroom. Yeah, so much for attachment issues. What surprised me the most was that Madison was the one who was torn up about it. She cried her eyes out for a good 20 minutes because we left Ethan. She kept saying "Mommy, where Epan?" It was the cutest, saddest thing ever. Normally, these two fight and wrestle each other all day, so I thought she would be happy to have 2 1/2 whole hours to herself. But, to my surprise, she was super happy to go get him from school and even said "I missed you" when he got in the car.

I asked Ethan how his first day was and if he made any friends, and his reply was. "Mommy, I don't like boys, I only like girls.....I Love girls." Um, I think it's already time for homeschool.
