The day after Christmas, I randomly asked my M-I-L how old kids are when they start losing their teeth. One of Ethan's front teeth was getting longer than the other one, so I thought that it was growing out and going to get looser. Little did I know, the next morning, I gave Ethan some breakfast, he took one bite and said his tooth hurt. I asked him to show me which one hurt and it was the shorter front tooth. I put my finger on it and it was really loose. Then, the next day, he was wrestling with Danny and Maddie and there was some blood on his lip. We looked in his mouth and it was coming from the tooth. Danny asked if Ethan wanted him to pull it out. Ethan looked at him like he was crazy and said ' NO'. Then, a few minutes later, he came to Danny and asked if he could pull his tooth out. I couldn't look and I was making all kinds of noise so I didn't hear it either. Then, Danny was saying something about the tooth fairy, and Ethan was standing there looking really confused. I asked him if he was okay and then I saw the gaping hole!
Now he looks super funny!

I asked him how much he thought the tooth fairy would bring him. He said 1 dollar and 1 penny, and he received that under his pillow that night. How did he know?
While I was tending to Ethan and his tooth, Maddie was getting into my make-up bag.
She wanted to put on mascara just like Mommy. She actually did get some on her eyelashes. I'm just glad it didn't end up on her eyeball.
